“Young Masters capture Sylt”
(Schleswig – Holstein on Saturday 2/8/09)
At the end of this year’s season on 31/7/09 Salaputia Brass played at the summer concert of German Music Foundation at the St. Severin church in Sylt. The program was as follows: Viktor Ewald’s fourth movement of the third Quintet in Des-Dur, and “Alla Hornpipe” of the Watermusic-Suite Nr. 2 by G.F. Händel in enlarged instrumentation Brass Quintet and Organ. The organist was Sebastian Küchler-Blessing, scholarship holder too. Furthermore three other awardees of the German Music Foundation played in the church of Keitum, a concert which was completely sold out. Among other celebrities, Wolfgang Schäuble, Federal Minister of internal affairs, Berthold Beitz and Heike Jahn attended the event.

Salaputia Brass on state visit with Dr. Angela Merkel in Washington D.C.
On Thursday, 25/6/2009, Salaputia Brass played with two other scholarship holders of the German Music Foundation at the award ceremony of the Eric M. Warburg – award to the Chancellor of Germany Dr. Angela Merkel.

Salaputia Brass on tour in Mexiko-City
In March 2009 Salaputia Brass visited Mexico – City. We were invited by the local Classic-Festival to play six concerts in and around the city centre.
